Non-alcoholic beer

Alcohol-free beer and craft beer do not need to be dealcoholized afterwards. Producers like Freedl and Vogelsang develop their beers from the start for an alcohol content of a maximum of 0.5% ABV.

Special yeast strains limit alcohol formation during fermentation while preserving texture, grain depth, and freshness. This results in independent interpretations of Helles and IPA, as well as modern beers with herbs, grapes, or citrus peels.
